I know there are most likely very few people busting down your door telling you what a huge Clippers fan they are, but we do exist. Our jerseys make look a little behind the times, and we may not be the most popular team in Los Angeles. However, the Los Angeles Clippers do have fans that love them.
I love them because, like me, they are blue collar. There is no glitz and glamour. You can sit and watch these guys play and identify with them. They give you a chance to be equal with others in the city for those 48 minutes you sit there.
Another thing you have to love are your fellow fans. There is no bandwagon people in our house. The Lakers have a dry spell, and there fans show their true colors. Not us, win or lose, we are with our team. You really do build a special bond with fellow Clipper fans that I think a lot of NBA fans miss out on.
I guess I can not really sit and tell you things that other fans can. We do not go to the playoffs every year. We do not have the next superstar. Most the time the closest we get to the spot light is the NBA Lottery Picks that occur on a yearly basis. All that said though, I am a fan. I am a fan that loves my team, win or lose.
